Sightsavers in the snow

On Thursday 7 January it was estimated that a cool two million Brits were unable to get to work because of the treacherous weather conditions. However these tireless charity workers were unperturbed by the snow – and battled the elements to make it into Sightsavers’ HQ in Haywards Heath.

Say hello to Simon Sightsavers – the colleague they constructed from snow! He looks like he’ll make a great fundraiser, though perhaps a bit of an airhead…

Sasha Butler who works in the Human Resources Department said: “A 20 minute walk took closer to 50, and I had to get seriously wrapped up. It was more like ice skating than walking to work and I slipped about five times on the way!”
