This year we are launching a brand new initiative called i:care. It’s all about eye care and the work that Sightsavers supports overseas! Activities are going to be centred around the i:care day, taking place on Friday June 20 2008.
We run a number of exciting competitions (Junior Painter, i:click) to encourage pupils to think creatively about issues surrounding blindness, find out more about these, and other ways you can get involved, here!
Read about some of the fun, inspirational and creative activities schools have organised to help Sightsavers continue to save sight and change lives in some of the poorest countries of the world.
We have produced a number of new materials for schools in the last few weeks, and also have an education resource pack available by request or to download!
Optical illusions have fascinated people for thousands of years, but what exactly are they? Visit our optical illusions page to find out more.
