We've teamed up with over 20 celebrities including Ewan McGregor, Michael Caine, George Michael, Robbie Coltrane and Kate Silverton to shout about the 153 million people across the world who need glasses.
We are auctioning off pairs of the celebs' glasses, kindly donated by them to support Specs Appeal. Because we are able to provide new glasses to people in the developing world for as little as £1.50, your bids could make a real impact on reducing the number of people in the world who can't see.
Sight is precious, yet 153 million people in the world are blind simply because they have no glasses. A vast proportion of those affected live in the developing world where access to eyecare is difficult and expensive.
