Become a
major donor

You can help us break the cycle of poverty, enabling people to support themselves and their families for generations to come. Find out more about how you can support our work.

Restoring sight is an extremely effective way of tackling poverty head-on. A major gift can significantly transform an entire community.

In 2016, Sightsavers performed over 260,000 cataract operations and provided more than 152 million treatments to protect people from blinding diseases such as trachoma and river blindness. We have ambitious plans for the future – and your support can help us achieve them.

Our work relies on the generous support of the public. Your support will have a huge impact: it could ensure blind children get the education they deserve, or could restore the sight of those who thought they would never see again. Your gift will help lift people out of the cycle of blindness and poverty.
