Enborne C of E Primary School students learn about Sightsavers

Sightsavers’ speaker Mike Thomas recently visited Enborne C of E Primary School to give an assembly about Sightsavers’ work to prevent avoidable blindness in developing countries.

He also presented the school with a certificate, to thank them for the generous donation they collected at their Christmas nativity.

The year five Enborne student pictured in the photo started the collection by donating her pocket money of £2!

If you would like a speaker to visit your school to do a curriculum linked talk about how we support blind people in developing countries please email Jo Mitchell at jmitchell@sightsavers.org
