Highlights from our projects
- Severe flooding has affected much of Benin, especially our partners in Lome and Conotou and even some inner parts of the country. Many people have had to leave their homes, and the government is struggling and looking for international help. Consequently, the first round of Mectizan® distribution is being affected. Mectizan® wasn’t received on time so distribution was delayed, and is now affected by migration, access and mobility issues.
- The second round in the Special Intervention Zone in November may also be affected.
