River blindness

Around 37 million people are currently infected with river blindness, and roughly 300,000 of them are already irreversibly blind. Approximately 140 million people in Africa are at risk of infection.

I really pity the people living in niger-delta region of my country,especially the children which are the future of the nation.

It is most unfortunate that this is happening in Africa,many people are exposed to this disease,any drug that is effective must be made available everywhere
