Support from foundations in countries outside Europe and the United States.

Sightsavers welcomes support from all foundations, wherever they may be registered. In recent years we have received substantial support from foundations registered in, for example, the United Arab Emirates, Canada and Bermuda, and the tax authorities in almost all countries accept Sightsavers’ UK registration with the Charity Commission for England and Wales as proof of its charitable purposes (charity number 207544).
