Flying high for sight

North Leverton C of E Primary School was one of over a hundred schools to take part in this year’s i:care day. This is a day dedicated to eye care and the work Sightsavers supports overseas, which took place in June this year.
Pupils flew kites they had made that week in class workshops, and managed to get sponsors for their kites, raising a total of £180.
The school spent the entire day taking part in activities relating to sight, and learnt a lot about Sightsavers’ work in developing countries.
