Classroom resources
- For English schools - this is a learning resource for teaching at Key Stage 2, which contains eight activities and background information around the theme of childhood blindness and inclusive education.
- For Scottish schools - this is the Scottish version of the resource detailed above for teaching pupils in P4-P7 and contains specific links to A Curriculum for Excellence in Scotland.
- i:care teaching resource (UK-wide) - this learning resource contains seven activity ideas to use with 7-11 year olds around the theme of eye care and blindness prevention.
Materials for pupils
- i:care activity fun pack for pupils(UK-wide) - this A6 activity booklet can be given to pupils as a fun follow up when they've been learning all about the senses or blindness. Inside the booklet pupils can help a young girl who lives in Sri Lanka to get through the maze to find her telescope to help her read, do an eye care word search, a Sudoku using symbols, a spot the difference all whilst learning more about the different ways Sightsavers saves sight!
