With approximately 12 million visually impaired people in India, and every year 25-30 thousand new cases, the need for eye donations is great. Venu's state-of-the-art Eye Bank plays a crucial role in this process.
The Shahabad Slum is situated in northwest Delhi, and is nearly two-and-a-half square kilometres in size. This project aims bring services right to the doorstep of those living there. Services such as intensive primary health care, eye care, malnutrition, female health care, environmental sanitation and rehabilitation for people with disabilities.
