The End is in Sight campaign, which launched in February 2019, benefited from the government’s UK Aid Match fund, which matched all donations pound for pound for the first three months.

The donation, from charitable fund Arcadia, will enable Sightsavers to continue its work to fight avoidable blindness in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Money raised from the appeal will be used to help eliminate the blinding disease by 2025.
