We’re delighted to reveal that Sunetra Sarker will be appearing on Catchphrase on Saturday 22 January.
Sunetra, who stars in Channel 4’s Ackley Bridge and recently joined the panel on ITV’s Loose Women, will be competing against comedian Roisin Conaty and radio presenter Rickie Haywood-Williams to solve tricky picture puzzles worth big sums of money for the contestants’ chosen charities.
The player who banks the most money will compete in a tense final round called the Super Catchphrase, where host Stephen Mulhern encourages contestants to unravel a series of brainteasers to win thousands of pounds.
Sunetra has been a Sightsavers supporter for more than a decade: she visited an eye screening programme in India in February 2020 and lent her voice to our trachoma appeal on BBC Radio 4 in June 2021. Every penny she raises will help to change lives, with donations to Sightsavers used to protect sight, prevent avoidable blindness, and ensure people with disabilities can participate equally in society.
To find out how Sunetra does, tune in to Catchphrase on ITV (or STV in Scotland) at 6pm on Saturday 22 January 2022.

Our organisation was founded in 1950, and we now work in more than 30 countries to prevent avoidable blindness and fight for disability rights.
91% of donations, including donated medical supplies, go to our charity work. We aim to be transparent so you can be sure your money is used wisely.
Our work focuses on low and middle income countries in Africa and Asia, where we examine people’s eyes and distribute treatments to protect sight.
