Elaine Lee.

Elaine Lee (Chair)

Elaine Lee is a customer experience and growth specialist with more than 30 years’ experience in commercial marketing and charity fundraising. She works with organisations to improve acquisition, retention and long-term value, particularly where customer experience, operational complexity and vulnerability intersect.

Co-founder and managing director of Reynolds Busby Lee, Elaine works with clients across the commercial and non-profit sectors to enhance customer and donor experience, frontline performance and sustainable growth. She has senior experience in direct-to-consumer businesses, including European leadership positions at Time-Life, alongside delivery of acquisition and growth programmes across ecommerce, contact centres and individual giving.

Elaine is an adviser to the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), a board member of the Telephone Preference Service and a trustee within the Sightsavers global network. She co-led the DMA Vulnerable Consumers Working Group, helping to shape industry approaches to supporting customers in vulnerable circumstances. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

Anna Becker

Anna is Director of Institutional Funding at Sightsavers, leading the development and implementation of Sightsavers institutional funding strategy. Anna works across the organisation to ensure external donor obligations are met and is a member of Sightsavers Management Team. Prior to joining Sightsavers in 2010 she worked for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and Save the Children.

Thor Beck.

Thor Beke

Thor Beke is a lawyer and managing director of Vaar Advokat AS in Oslo. He advises businesses at the intersection of technology, commercial law and public procurement, and has previously served as Scandinavian legal director for an international technology group. Thor has extensive experience in board work, foundation law and corporate governance. He was involved in establishing Sightsavers in Norway and continues to contribute strategic and legal insight to the foundation’s governance and development.

Gustav Gorecki

Gustav Gorecki is chief executive officer of David and Goliath Ventures and former innovation director at Storebrand. Gustav has extensive experience in business development, entrepreneurship, technology and management in Scandinavia. He also has many years of experience as a consultant, most recently as manager at Accenture Strategy. Gustav has, among other roles, been an adviser to the Minister of Trade and Industry in Sweden. Today, he also leads the Norwegian arm of Ignite Nordic in Norway.

Pratik Patel.

Pratik Patel

Pratik is a pharmacist by training and has 20 years’ experience in research and development. He is currently the global head of programme management for Novartis, where his team oversees the programme management of Novartis’s late-stage development programmes. Prior to this role, Pratik held a number of roles in research and development at Roche.
