UK gender pay gap reporting

Find information about the difference in pay between Sightsavers’ female and male staff.

  • The difference in mean pay during the pay period between male and female employees: 3.17% higher for men

In 2021, the mean difference was 0.27% in favour of men, in 2020 it was 0.22% in favour of women and in 2019 it was 2.54% in favour of men. This is substantially lower than the national average each year and the fluctuations are very small.

  • The difference in median pay during the pay period between male and female employees: 3.27% higher for men

In 2021 the difference in median pay was 1.76% in favour of men, in 2020 it was 4.49% in favour of men, in 2019 it was 9.91%.
