A donation of just £6 – the  price of a tub of chocolates* – could help save the sight of a child with cataracts. Thanks to your support, reaching our target means more than 106 children could receive vital treatment.

Thanks to our generous supporters and partners, 10-year-old Melia (below) was able to have sight-saving cataract surgery at a temporary surgical camp at Zomba hospital in Malawi.

Will you make one more donation before Christmas?

Your generous gifts will light up our Christmas tree. Now we've reached our £10,000 fundraising target, we could help 106 children like Melia see clearly.

This time of year is about coming together to make a meaningful difference. Will you donate this Christmas and help transform more lives?

Our Christmas fundraiser will run from 10 December until 17 December. We’ll be adding up online donations to our Christmas appeal and displaying the total on this page.

Our goal is to raise £10,000, which is equivalent to providing 106 cataract operations, but donations will be used to support our life-changing work wherever the need is greatest.

Every £1,000 raised will light up one section of the Christmas tree.

One-off donations are included at their face value (eg £10 donation = £10 displayed on this page), and regular gifts are included as the value of 12 months’ donations (eg £5 donation a month = £60 displayed on this page).

The totaliser does not include Gift Aid.

We will update the information in the totaliser once a day while the fundraiser is running, to give us time to validate donations.
