Sunetra, who plays Dr Zoe Hanna on medical drama Casualty, has been an ambassador for Sightsavers since 2009 when she wore a blindfold for a day to highlight the plight of thousands of blind women around the globe.

Dr Moira Chinthambi received a Sightsavers scholarship to train as an ophthalmologist and now works on our inclusive eye health programme in Malawi.
