French beauty brand L’Occitane has launched three gift boxes to mark World Sight Day, with €5 from every sale donated to Sightsavers Ireland.

Available from 16 September, each ‘Caring for Sight’ box contains five mini products, including shower gel and hand cream, in L’Occitane’s signature scents. The collections are: Botanical Scents, Cocooning Comforts, and Delicate Petals.

L’Occitane collaborated with UK illustrator and designer Ruby Taylor to create bespoke designs for the boxes, which are decorated with intricate floral illustrations.

Donations from the boxes will help to fund vital eye health services for children and marginalised groups in Bangladesh. With L’Occitane’s support, Sightsavers Ireland’s project Saving Sight in Rural Bangladesh is already making a difference to thousands of people in some of the country’s most isolated communities.

Ciara Smullen, Sightsavers Ireland’s head of strategic partnerships, said: “We’re thrilled to work with L’Occitane for the third year running to celebrate World Sight Day and raise funds to protect and restore sight globally.”

The Caring for Sight collection is available in stores across Ireland and via the L’Occitane website during September and October 2021. Each box costs €34.
