Run the London Marathon for Sightsavers: terms and conditions

By applying to run the London Marathon for Sightsavers, I confirm that I agree to the following declaration:

• I agree to participate in the TCS London Marathon 2025 for Sightsavers and pledge to raise a minimum of £2,000 (excluding Gift Aid), which will be paid to Sightsavers no later than four weeks after the event has taken place.
• I commit to raising at least £500 of my sponsorship target by 22 November 2024. I understand that if I have not raised this minimum by this deadline, and I have not contacted Sightsavers about this target, my place may be allocated to someone else.
• I understand that there is a second stage of registration with the event organisers (at no extra cost), and that I will need to complete this in order to take part in the event.
• By signing up to take part in the London Marathon, we will contact you to offer you support with your fundraising, training tips, details of timings on the day, and information on how to send us the funds you’ve raised. We will use your postal address to send you your running vest and iron-on letters, and post any other fundraising materials you may request. We won’t send you any other marketing unless you indicate in your application form that you are happy with this.
• I commit to informing Sightsavers as soon as possible if I am unable to take part in the TCS London Marathon due to injury or illness.
• Sightsavers reserves the right to use any image of me captured on the day of the event for future marketing across Sightsavers’ websites, social media platforms and other marketing channels, unless I request otherwise.
