Dublin-based non-profit organisation Rekindle Talents is hosting an International Women’s Day gala night on Friday 8 March in aid of Sightsavers Ireland.

The annual event, taking place this year at Westmanstown Conference and Event Centre in Clonsilla, Dublin, will celebrate women in the community as part of International Women’s Day, and will feature dinner, entertainment, dancing and an auction.

Proceeds from the event will, for the first time, support Sightsavers, with €5 of each ticket going towards work to save sight. A single gift of €5 could provide medication to protect or treat 100 people for river blindness.

Rekindle is a non-profit organisation that helps less privileged individuals to fulfil their potential by nurturing their skills, abilities and talents so they can give back to the community.

The event is being organised by Rekindle’s executive director, Dotun Adegbesan, and everyone is welcome to attend. Tickets are €30 and can be purchased by emailing [email protected].
