Run Amsterdam Marathon for charity

Fast, flat and historic: the Amsterdam Marathon course is one to experience!

The event starts and finishes at the iconic Olympic Stadium, and runners will follow a scenic 26.2-mile route. Highlights include running alongside the Amstel River, through the country’s national museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the green heart of the city: the Vondelpark.

Amsterdam is known for being one of Europe’s most vibrant cities, and taking part in the TCS Amsterdam Marathon allows runners to enjoy all of the major sights in a world-class event with a 50-year history.

Registration for the TCS Amsterdam Marathon 2026 will open later in the year.

How to register

You can sign up to run for Sightsavers by completing the online registration form on the Run for Charity website. The entry fee is £51.20, and we ask runners to raise £500 for our vital charity work.

Your run, your impact

The £500 you raise could help us pay for five cataract operations for children at risk of sight loss.

Got your own place?

If you’ve already signed up for this event, you can still fundraise for us. Before you become a Sightsavers fundraiser, you need to have confirmed your place with the race organiser. This means registering directly and paying your registration fee.
