Sightsavers is delighted to announce that Post Insurance will be the first ever title sponsor for the annual Bright for Sight fundraising campaign this year.

Post Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of An Post, offers insurance and financial products for customers throughout Ireland.

The partnership kicked off with a photocall on 1 May, and will culminate in Post Insurance’s own Bright for Sight event on 21 June.

Post Insurance Managing Director Paul Grimes said the organisation is proud to be behind an event that will transform lives. “Post Insurance is delighted to support the Bright for Sight campaign this year,” he said. “Wearing yellow on 21 June is a great way to brighten up any workplace, and we take great pride in knowing that it will mean the lives of so many people will be transformed through the gift of sight.”

Sightsavers Ireland Head of Major Giving Ciara Smullen said: “We are thrilled to have the support of Post Insurance this year as title sponsor for our Bright for Sight campaign. Their kind support is enough to fund 156 life-changing cataract operations in the countries where we work, restoring 156 people’s sight not just immediately, but forever.”
