Our strategy documents

Sightsavers' latest strategies, launched in 2021, aim to help us achieve our goals in each of the areas where we work.

Since Sightsavers was founded in 1950, the organisation has worked to protect sight, fight disease and support people with disabilities around the world.

To achieve this, we have published thematic strategies covering our work on eye health, uncorrected refractive error, neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), social inclusion and education.

The latest strategies, launched in 2021, have been developed in close consultation with our staff, drawing on key global strategies and frameworks including the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the World Report on Vision, and the Roadmap for NTDs 2030.
